The Fire I Couldn't Put Out

As a Business and Creativity Coach it would be out of integrity for me to not share with you how I got here

Whilst I’ve always had a strong passion for art, I never studied nor have any ‘formal training’ in fine art. I too am a ‘self taught artist’! I did take in high school up until age 17, but then gravitated towards the sciences because I was always told art was merely a ‘hobby’

Fast forward a decade, after obtaining degrees in Engineering and Business Administration I began working full time as an engineer and now manage an engineering firm.

Shortly after graduating university, in my mid 20s, while managing a new career and motherhood, I picked up my art materials and began creating again. But it was HARD. And it didn’t work!

I had to learn how to create time, and continuously remind myself that my art had a place in this world. I took workshops and formed relationships with other artists.

But the game changer for me was finding a mentor and art coach.

Fast forward to present day, with my 40s fast approaching, I’ve now been exhibiting professionally for over 15 years. My work in galleries and museums has received rave reviews and I am grateful to have my work published internationally and represented in many private collections.

Having a coach was such a game changer. Over time, I found myself drawn to do the same for other women and self taught artists, like you!

When women support women, magic happens!

I know it because I experienced it!

And so can you!

Let’s Change The Narrative

I have been exhibiting professionally for over a decade. My work has been exhibited in  galleries and museums. I am also grateful to have had my work published internationally and represented in many private collections.

However, none of that would be possible without the amazing support I received. Throughout life, I experienced the greatest growth when my potential and passion were nurtured by fabulous mentors.

These women urged me to grow and learn without fear. Without them, my art would just be a statistic.

A data survey of the permanent collections of 18 prominent art museums in the U.S.
found that out of over 10,000 artists, 87% are male!
